This is a basic pizza sauce recipe that you could make even simpler if you don't have fresh garlic. You could simply mix all the ingredients together, no cooking and you're done! I personally love fresh garlic in it.
Heat Olive Oil on medium heat in a medium saucepan, then once warm add minced garlic.
Cook garlic about 2 minutes till fragrant and just turning golden
Immediately add tomato sauce and tomato paste to cool down garlic
Lastly add rest of seasonings, stir and done.
This recipe makes about 2 cups of pizza sauce. Depending on your sauce amount preference this sauce will cover 4 large sheet pan pizzas. We use about 1/2 cup per sheet pan pizza and a bit less for smaller round thin crust pizzas.
