Caramelized Onion, Bacon & Pear Pizza

Make this pizza on Large Sheet Pan or Round Pizza Pan

  • 2 Cups Caramelized Onions
  • 1/2 Cup Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1/2 Cup crumbled Blue Cheese or Gorgonzola
  • 6 Slices cooked and thinly sliced Bacon
  • 1/2 Large Pear thinly sliced (about 1/8 ” thick)
  • 1 Pizza Dough (Either homemade or store-bought)


  1. Preheat Oven to 500 deg.
  2. Roll out Pizza dough and move to Sheet Pan or Heavy Aluminum Pizza Pan (If using a pre-made dough you can skip this step)
  3. Rub edges of dough with about 1 Tbs Olive Oil
  4. Cover dough up to about 1/2 ” of edge with Caramelized Onions
  5. Sprinkle evenly with mozzarella
  6. Sprinkle evenly with Bacon
  7. Place Pear slices evenly throughout
  8. Top with crumbled cheese
  9. Place pan in pre-heated oven for 8 minutes
  10. After 8 minutes if pizza easily shakable on pan, slide off directly onto oven grates and bake another 2-3 minutes, till top bubbles and cooked well underneath
  11. Watch pizza closely to avoid burning.
  12. Slice it up and enjoy!



Serve with Green Salad[br][br](For Sheet Pan: Cut twice lengthwise and 5X on width making 18 squares)[br](For Round Pizza Pan: In Squares, Cut 3X both ways making 12 pieces, In Triangles, make 4 diagonal cuts making 8 large slices)
