Melon Fruit Salad with Honey Lime Mint Dressing

This recipe makes a HUGE bowl of salad (great for a party) but you can easily half if necessary.

  • 1 Cantelope
  • 1 Honeydew Melon
  • 12 oz. Blueberries (blackberries or strawberries may be substituted if preferred or in season)

Fruit Salad Dressing

  • 1/4 cup raw local honey
  • 1 lime juiced (about 1/4 cup)
  • zest of 1 lime (about 1 tsp)
  • 2 Tbsp Mint leaves, washed, dried and finely chopped (regular mint or peppermint herb OK. I use peppermint sometimes because it’s what we have in our garden)


  1. Cut up all melon into about 3/4″-1″ cubes or melon balls if preferred.
  2. Top with washed blueberries .
  3. Make Dressing by combining all dressing ingredients in a small bowl and whisk well.
  4. Pour dressing over melon and berries and combine til well incorporated.
  5. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hr or freezer for 30 min.
