Teriyaki Chicken Bowl

I use my Ginger Teriyaki Sauce for this Teriyaki Bowl recipe.  It's an easy 5 minute sauce that can be used anytime a recipe calls for Teriyaki sauce.  The recipe makes about 1 cup of sauce and this recipe calls for a half cup, so you'll have some extra to drizzle on bowls as you please.

Ingredients

Scale

1-1 1/4 lb. chicken (Breasts or Thighs), cut into 3/4" cubes

1/2 cup Ginger Teriyaki Sauce

Rice or Udon Noodles for bowl

Vegetable of choice for bowl (I usually use broccoli)

Instructions

  1. Cube chicken and prep vegetables if you have not done so already.
  2. Make the Teriyaki Sauce (This just takes about 5 mins total) and then set aside.
  3. Heat up wok or large skillet to Medium high heat.
  4. Once skillet is heated up turn down to Medium heat and add sesame oil, then chicken.
  5. Give the chicken a quick stir and then sprinkle salt and pepper all over chicken.
  6. Continue cooking chicken 4-5 minutes stirring occasionally or until cooked through to 145 deg.
  7. Turn up heat a little to Medium high.  If you have extra liquid from the chicken, drain it out now.  Add 1/2 cup of Teriyaki sauce and stir to glaze the chicken with it, cooking for about a minute.
  8. Remove chicken from heat and serve on top of your starch with your vegetable of choice.  Feel free to drizzle a little extra sauce on the dishes if you like.

Notes

This Chicken Teriyaki Bowl goes great with jasmine rice or Asian noodles and your vegetable.  I love it with my steamed or air fryer broccoli.  It makes for an easy, quick and really tasty meal!

***In the Nutrifox Nutrition Facts Below, chicken with my ginger teriyaki sauce is included, but not a starch or vegetable. ***
