2/3 cup Pecans
1/3 cup Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
1 Tbsp Bourbon (optional)
1 sheet Puff Pastry
2 tsp cornstarch
1 large egg
Flatten out Puff Pastry
Flatten out your puff pastry to 9" X 12"
CUT PASTRY
Cut puff pastry into 12- 3" Squares & Poke 3-4 Times with Fork.
Place squares & Bake
Place squares into greased muffin pan. Bake at 400 F for 10 mins.
PASTRY CUPS AFTER 1st BAKE
After 1st bake, use spoon to push down puff pastry in the middle.
Mix Dry & Wet
Mix dry & wet ingredients to make your Maple Pecan Pie Filling.
FILL & BAKE
Add filling to cups. Bake at 350 F. for 12-14 mins (or filling is bubbly, puffed up along with corners.
