Perfect Crispy Air Fryer Broccoli

This air fryer broccoli is still a little green with a slight crunch. If you're needing to double the recipe just cook it in 2 batches or 2 separate air fryer baskets if you have a double cooking air fryer.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh broccoli washed and cut into small florets
  • 2 Tbsp olive oil

Spices

  • Just shy of 1/4 tsp fine sea salt if you need to use less sodium, start with about 1/8 tsp and then adjust the salt after cooking
  • 1/4 tsp granulated garlic powder or garlic powder fine
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp fine ground pepper

Garnish/Add on post Air Fry

  • Squeeze of lemon
  • Fresh shaved or grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Toss the broccoli with the olive oil in a medium bowl or right in your air fryer basket if you have nonstick baskets. 
  • Mix together your spices and sprinkle on the oiled broccoli and toss again.
  • Set your air fryer to 350 degrees.  Pre-heat for 3 mins.  Air Fry broccoli for 8 minutes, toss once half-way through
  • Once your cook time is complete, move your broccoli to a serving dish immediately to keep it from over-cooking. 
  • At this point you can squeeze a little lemon juice to the broccoli bowl or directly on plates.  Same goes for the parmesan if you so choose to.  Up to you.
