We’ve had backyard chickens since 2018 and are planning on expanding our homestead with some honey bees in 2024.  Check out how we started with backyard chickens, built a chicken coop, our wins and losses and how we are learning what works and what doesn’t.  We’ve got videos showing how amazing these animals can be as well, from swinging on swings, to fighting off predators.  Never in our wildest dreams did we imagine we’d have chickens, but now that we do, we never won’t.  They’re fun and give us the best eggs ever!  If you’re curious about what it takes to own chickens in your own backyard, check out our posts below.
