This Sweet Sriracha Sauce
Sweet Sriracha
Just a little good raw honey gives this sauce the sweet edge it needs to be a more versatile sauce.  It makes it more appealing to people who are not as into the heat of straight sriracha sauce.

I've tried all sorts of sriracha, but the green top Huy Fong Sriracha
I do prefer the green top sriracha for this particular sweet sriracha sauce recipe.  It's popular for a reason; the flavor, the texture, just the right combination for sriracha lovers. There are a couple others that rate highly for flavor, heat and texture and don't have preservatives like Fix Sriracha Hot Sauce

Fun fact, Sriracha is made from a type of red jalapeno. Jalapenos turn red when they are fully ripened, which is what gives Sriracha sauce it's iconic color.
How Hot Is Sriracha?
Sriracha is not super hot if you can normally handle spicy food, it ranges from 2,000 to 2,500 Scoville units. This is under Tabasco but hotter than Frank's Red Hot. Check out this great post by Sriracha2Go comparing different hot sauce Scoville units and showing where Sriracha ranks on the scale.
