Here’s a very green Kale and Spinach loaded juice with  great nutrients to boost your greens intake.  Check out some benefits of green juice here. I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m never getting enough greens to make up for my lack of in years past.  This juice is one of my ways to get in chock loads of great greens in an easy juice to drink.  It’s not the prettiest of juices and not very sweet so might not please rookie juicers, but it does the job of loading you up on the good stuff.

Why juice?

Some people ask why anyone should juice greens and vegetables instead of just eating them. You can and should eat your vegetables and greens, but let’s be honest, we’re probably not eating enough of them so our bodies are starving for the really vitamin rich stuff we need to keep our bodies healthier.  If you need a boost in that important organism you call your body, then juicing can boost your intake to another level by nourishing your body with the raw good stuff! I can feel a huge difference in how my body functions since I started juicing. Adding 2 whole limes gives this juice the kick and you get the great benefits of lime juice. Give it a try for a great tangy green boost!

  • 6 large Kale leaves 8-10" leaves
  • 2 handfuls of Spinach
  • 1 8 " cucumber
  • 2 handfuls cilantro
  • 6 medium carrots
  • 2 half peeled limes
  • 2 medium apples


  • Put all ingredients through juicer (scrunch or fold up greens on top of apple pieces or over carrots)
  • Stir and serve
